What is
Red Vein Removal

It is the removal of broken capillaries (spider/thread veins) on the skin. They are generally found around the nose, on the cheeks, or around the chin area. Broken capillaries can be caused by sunburn, irritation of the skin, aging etc. They are removed with a fine needle that delivers an electric current to the capillary and destroys it. This is a painless procedure and results can be seen after just one session!

After

Care

  • Keep the area dry for 24 hours.
  • Avoid skincare with ingredients on the treated area like glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, retinol etc., for 5 days.
  • Avoid sun exposure, hot baths/showers, makeup (mineral makeup is ok), fake tan, tanning beds, sauna, jacuzzi, strenuous exercise, for 48 - 72 hours.
  • To help any redness you can use aloe vera or savlon. This should subside in 1 week.
