Nose Threads

Thread lifting is a procedure we have introduced and is proving to be quite popular among our clientele. This treatment can be done on the brow/eye area or on the nose. Sometimes known as the 'lunch hour lift', it is a good alternative to a nose job or facelift due to its price point, results and recovery time.

The Thread Lift works by inserting a cannula under the skin with the thread inside it which attaches itself to the muscle, it is then tightened to create a lifted, smoother and more firm appearance to the area. The treated area is then massaged in a way for the threads to take their full effect.

For the eye area, it will smooth any fine lines on the skin as well as slightly lifting the lid giving a more awake and fresher look.

For the nose, which is our specialty, it will straighten the side profile and lift the tip of the nose, which will provide a more balanced appearance to the face and a sleeker transition from the forehead to the nose. It will also smooth out any small ridges or bumps the nose may have.

Depending on how quickly or slowly your body will break down the threads, the results of this treatment can last between six to nine months, with the threads eventually dissolving naturally in the body by themselves.

Due to the use of a local anaesthetic this treatment has minimal discomfort and it is actually quite quick due to the treatment being complete in under 30 minutes.

The threads also trigger a boost in your body's natural collagen production which can improve your skins tone and firmness for up to one year.
