What is
Radiesse Lidocaine

Cameo Clinic Dr. CYJ hair filler How It Works

Radiesse Lidocaine is a gel like injectable that is firmer than most dermal fillers making it perfect for not only smoothing fine lines and wrinkles but restoring lost volume as a result of fat loss or bone loss that comes with the natural aging process.

As radiesse is a thicker product that converts into collagen to form new tissue in comparison to more hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers, this means radiesse is often a more suitable option for those interested in reconstructing a more contoured shape to the face such as the cheekbone and jawline areas.

Radiesse also contains a small amount of lidocaine which is a local anaesthetic, helping to minimise discomfort throughout the treatment.

After

Care

  • During the first 24/48hrs after your treatment you my experience redness, swelling, bruising and/or tenderness in the treated areas. Redness and swelling usually resolves within the first 24hrs although some patients with sensitive skin may take longer. Bruising may take several days to fade (full recovery takes about 2 weeks).
  • If bruising occurs, you can use Arnica Cream which you can buy from any pharmacy.
  • If you feel and small lumps or balls of filler you can massage these using clean hands but not too forcibly, it is completely normal to feel small deposits of filler.
  • Do not drink alcohol for 24hrs as this increases circulation and may prolong bruising or swelling.
  • Do not have facials, hair treatments, chemical peels or laser treatments for 10-14 days after injection.
  • Do not expose your enhancement to direct sun, tanning treatments, jacuzzis, saunas, salt water, chlorinated water and direct shower spray.
  • Do not ice the treated area.
